Derivation of the transmission line matrix method by finite integration

摘要：
In this paper the Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) Method is derived from Maxwell's equations by finite integration. It is shown that six of the twelve TLM equations may be derived directly by discretizing Maxwell's equations. The other six TLM equations are obtained from a subset of the spatial derivatives of Maxwell's equations.
