摘要
The aim of this study was to describe some aspects of the quality of life (QOL) in type 2 diabetes patients with chronic kidney disease and to identify the negative factors that can influence the QOL. Both the development of type 2 diabetes complications as the progression towards end stage renal disease alters the quality of life, the patients autonomy, the functional capacity, increases the number of hospitalization and the medical costs. The occurrence of chronic complications of diabetes evolution determines a new psychological rehabilitation phase, which is experienced as a new psychological obstacle in the patient's life. The findings of the present study highlight the impact of chronic kidney disease and DMT2 on the quality of life This paper demonstrates that the association of CKD with type 2 diabetes mellitus negatively influences the quality of life (anxiety, fatigue, depression). These aspects must be taken in account in order to obtain the patients compliance to the medical and nutritional intervention and ultimately improving the quality of life of patients.
