摘要
This letter proposes a divide-by-2 injection-locked frequency divider (ILFD) in the TSMC 0.18 mu m 1P6M CMOS process. The ILFD uses two three-path inductors in series with a centre-tapped inductor as the resonator. Measured data shows that the varactor-less divide-by-2 ILFD has two non-overlapped locking ranges at the injection power of 0 dBm, this indicates the ILFD uses dual-resonance resonator and it uses on-chip inductors as distributed resonator for EMI reduction.
