17O and 93Nb NMR investigation of magnetoelectric effect in Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3

摘要
The O-17 and Nb-93 quadrupole perturbed nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of multiferroic Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O-3 have been measured. The results show that the ordering at T-N = 143 K is antiferromagnetic with spin canting and that there is another magnetic transition around 20 K. The system consists of dielectric nanodomains and superparamagnetic clusters that order at T-N, producing the magnetoelectric effect. (C) 2008 American Institute of Physics. [DOI: 10.1063/1.2957077]
