摘要：

In order to solve the problem of wear failure of the locomotive diesel engine, the method of the fault diagnosis system based on the parameters of the system model has been discussed. And an ellipsoid detection equation for the model parameters of the detection system is proposed. With this method, an effective system diagnosis method is proposed, which can diagnose the fault factors of the system. Through the application of an example, it proves that the method is a very effective method of fault diagnosis.
