摘要
The effects of rare earth element Ce and pre-deformation transformation on aging transformation for the 2090 Al-Li alloys have been investigated. It is found that the trace Ce element (0.11%) can obviously disperse T-1 phase and make precipitation homogeneous and fine especially in peak aging process, but not in delta' trans formation. The pre-deformation leads to the increase of dislocation density in alloys and the decrease of nucleation work, consequently, prompts T-1 phase to precipitate. Better properties can be acquired by commonly matched by using Ce (0.04%similar to0.14%)and pre-deformation(3%-9%).
