Giant spin fluctuation as a possible origin of the giant magnetoresistance in La(1-x)A(x)MnO(3)

摘要：
In La(1-x)A(x)MnO(3) with some A(2+) cations, extraordinarily large spin fluctuations (SF) can be expected when the ferromagnetic state, stabilized by the double exchange interaction, becomes unstable against an antiferromagnetic state. It is argued that this giant SF can be the origin of the transport anomaly including the giant magnetoresistance observed in the compound system.
