Simulation of physicochemical processes of oxidation of nitrogen and sulfur oxides upon electron-beam purification of power plant flue gases

摘要
An attempt was made to apply general principles of simulation of kinetic processes to developing an optimum mechanism of radiation-chemical oxidation of NO and SO2 in power plant flue gases. Various groups of reactions relevant to the gas-phase oxidation of nitrogen and sulfur oxides were analyzed. The mechanism of thermal interaction of SO2 and NH3 is proposed. The results of calculations are compared with the available experimental data.
