In this paper, a broadband absorber based on resistance film is presented. It is composed of resistance films on both the top layer and the intermediate layer, a metal backplate on the bottom layer. Using this design, an absorbing bandwidth of 22.2GHz is realized in 4-26.2GHz (fractional bandwidth of 147.02%), and the absorbing rate is up to 90%. Besides, because trigonometric periodic arrangement is adopted, the design has better angular stability than classic quadrilateral periodic arrangement.
