摘要
An approach is proposed for transmission system overload management. To achieve this aim, the problem is formulated in an Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) problem to minimize the fuel cost of generation in case of overload. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to solve ELD problem. The results have been demonstrated for both normal and overload conditions. The final results show that the PSO algorithm performs well in both conditions. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V.
