摘要
A visible-light-induced, manganese-catalyzed protocol for the synthesis of 6-beta-keto alkyl phenanthridines has been developed efficiently from 2-biphenyl isocyanides and cyclopropanols in the absence of an external oxidant. This transformation is amenable to various isocyanides and tertiary cyclopropanols under catalytic amounts of Mn(acac)(3) (10 mol%).
