摘要
Monophasic rare earth (Dy3+ and Sm3+) substituted Co0.9Cu0.1Fe2O4 was prepared by sol-gel auto combustion method. X-ray diffraction and Raman analysis confirmed the monophasic formation of cubic mixed spinel structures. The prepared materials were characterized using TG-DTA, ICP-AES, SEM-EDX, TEM-SAED, and XPS techniques. The magnetic studies carried on VSM at 300 K and 50 K revealed that the saturation magnetization decreased with rare earth ion substitution, whereas coercivity improved substantially with RE ion substitution. The dielectric parameters were studied with respect to frequency and temperature.
