摘要
Energy or Power is one of the most valuable assets of any country today. The economy of a country largely depends on power as industries cannot function without it. As the energy demand is growing globally, the production units are bound to meet the demand by producing power through different sources. Using new and existing energy production means provokes a continuous interest to analyze equipment efficiency of the new as well as the existing equipment. This paper focuses on the role of Gas Turbines in Power Production. Through energy analysis, that is, measuring the performance of a system, we can estimate the efficiency of the equipment. Through proper analysis of this data, operators can get an idea of how to improve various operating characteristics of the gas turbines.
