摘要：

A new microwave heating process for ceramic materials is proposed and analyzed. Instead of processing material in the bulk state, material under processing is subdivided into many pellets randomly distributed in a suitable low-density, low-thermal-conductivity host medium. Theoretical and numerical models allow studying the dielectric properties of the mixture and analyzing power deposition into the 3D random medium.
