摘要
In recent years, the concept of prosocial behavior is gaining interest in the programs of support toward the psychosocial integration of people with disabilities. The present study is aimed to examine in prosocial behavior and the self-concept of the students with disabilities according to the type of disability, grade of severity and stage of the disability is acquired. In addition, is aimed to identify different profiles in prosocial behavior. Finally, significant differences in self-concept domains among profiles previously identified are also analyzed. Prosocial behavior Scale (1993), and the AF5 Self-concept Questionnaire (1999) were administered to 102 people with disabilities, aged 15 to 26 years (M = 20.52; DT = 4.80). Cluster analyses allowed identifying three different prosocial behavior profiles: a group of people with high Prosocial behavior profile, a group with low prosocial behavior, a group with predominance of high scores in Empathy and high Reliability. Results also revealed significant statistical differences in most domains of self-concept among profiles. Results suggest the need of going in depth on prosocial behavior knowledge and design self-concept programs for of people with disabilities.
