The concept of educational style has prevailed relatively recently in the pedagogical literature, its theoretical and applicative meanings taking shape in the area of the research interested especially in the teaching behavior of the teacher, the relations teacher-pupil/student and the teacher's pre-service/in-service training. Today, we cannot imagine the role model of the Physical Education and Sports teacher outside an axiological conscience. Consequently, he/she should be an authentic bearer, transmitter and creator of values. At the same time, in the investigation of the shaping of the professional style in the contemporary Physical Education from the perspective of the pedagogical research and experience, constructive is the model of the teacher's personality, closely connected to the present problems of the curriculum, and the educational relations, seen as a means of shaping the professional style. In the socio-affective relations, it is necessary for the Physical Education teacher to express empathy-for this reason, we consider that in the shaping of the professional style, the logic of the heart has a special role. The training of specialized teachers is nevertheless marked by numerous contradictions and malfunctions such as: non-recognition of the need to approach and solve some problems that Physical Education and Sports have to face, tendency of increased pragmatism in education and non-critical acceptance of the postmodern ideas on teaching and the teacher's roles, misbalance between theory and practice in teacher training, the approach of new knowledge and disciplines on the background of the preservation of some stylistic accents that are unable to produce the desired changes. The situation presented involves a change of vision and of professional style.
