摘要
DIgSILENT PowerFactory, a simulation software application, is exclusively devised for electric power system and control analysis. Equipped with various electric component models, it has brought great convenience for the research and study of power system with distributed generation. This paper introduces the modeling principle, general framework, and various functional blocks in the simulation of relay protection based on DIgSILENT. By illustrating overcurrent and distance protection, this paper presents the process of the application of DIgSILENT to relay protection simulation and proves the effectiveness and progressiveness of the software in this field.
