摘要
The development of every new generation of wireless communications begins with increased requirements for speed and capacity. In addition to the above, the 5G (5th generation) systems must also satisfy new scenarios of using very different requirements, including various ways of communicating the devices. Several research initiatives address the issues of regulation and standardization in this area. In this paper, we gave a brief overview of research on future 5G systems, the requirements they are facing, user scenarios, functionalities, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as a measure of assessing the performances of these systems.
