摘要
Investigations were carried out in goldenrod (Solidago cancrdensis L.) to study the effect of growth regulators (GA(3) at 200 ppm and CCC at 1000 ppm), biostimulants (panchagavya at 3% and humic acid at 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3%) and pinching at 30 days after planting on flower yield and quality. The experiment was laid out in Randomised Block Design consisting of 13 treatments with 3 replications. The growth regulators and bio-stimulants were applied by foliar spray for three times viz., 15, 30 and 45 days after planting. The results revealed that the plants treated with GA3 200 ppm combined with pinching performed better with most of the flower characters and quality such as minimum days to first flowering, minimum days to 50% flowering, maximum flower stalk length, maximum number of flower stalks plant(-1), maximum yield ha(-1), highest duration of flowering and it can be well recommended for the profitable cultivation of goldenrod.
