摘要：
Respiratory diseases in swine lead to high economic losses worldwide. Diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic measures are a challenge for swine practicioners due to the mostly multifactorial cause of disease. Vaccines exist against the most important porcine respiratory tract pathogens, which protective effects are due to various immune reactions. The indirect test for pathogen-contact due to vaccination or infection by detection of antigen-specific-antibodies is not representative for the immune response, because important cellular immune reactions are not assessed. Cellular immunity cannot be examined routinely.
