摘要：

Childhood asthma is associated with allergy in the vast majority of cases. The sensitization profile changes with age: food sensitization in young infants is followed by the emergence of sensitization to aeroallergens and the possibility of development of polysensitization. Treatment recommendations are now mainly focused on inflammation. At the present, evidence for the role of allergy in asthma is increasing based on asthma's persistence, its poor control and severity. We will in turn analyze these issues and their consequences for treatment. (C) 2013 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
