Sometimes, the theoretical considerations concerning the cathodic protection are incompatible with experimental data. The present article describes problems relating to corrosion hazards and cathodic protection and comparison of calculated and experimental results of the current density and potential in cathodic protection systems (Cathodic protection against corrosion of in underground tanks - comparative analysis).
