Fluorimetric method for the determination of thiocyanate with 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein and iodine

摘要
A highly sensitive and selective fluorimetric method has been developed for the determination of thiocyanate with 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein (lambda(ex) = 508 nm, lambda(em) = 524 nm) at pH 5.8-6.7. The calibration gaph is linear over the range 1.0-60 ng ml(-1) SCN-. The detection limit is 1.0 ng ml(-1) SCN-. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of thiocyanate ion in saliva and serum. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
