摘要
The radiation crosslinking of PTFE in the presence of acetylene was studied. The yield of crosslinking was determined from thermomechanical testing data and, on this basis, it was concluded that crosslinking follows the chain mechanism. Radiation-crosslinked PTFE possesses high wear resistance and enhanced radiation stability.
