摘要
Social networks have increasingly positioned in everyday moments of human life. The possibility of maintaining interaction with people and with information fastly shows the success of this communication technology. That is why, considering this functionality we try to benefit from it in the educative area It is important to look for a point of agreement in which technology is a contribution to the educational area and backwards. It is this aspect that has caused us to look at these social networks to get the most out of it in educational fields. There, the reading habit has been one of the most affected, especially in the youngest of our society. This research aims to decipher methodological strategies that allow to take advantage of the popularity and frequency in the use of social networks, to encourage reading in students between 4th and 7th year of Basic Education of the Unidad Educativa Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola in the Guayaquil city. To meet this objective, the use of surveys and interviews will be used in order to collect information that allows the correct and concrete design of activities that guide the objective set for this work.
