摘要
The complexity of projects and complexity in project management are concepts whose interest is increasing. This research conceptualizes the complexity in project management from different dimensions and characterizes the evolution of the term, addressing also the existing tools for evaluation according to international standards and trends. The methodology consists of a theoretical investigation, in order to know the state of the art of the subject matter and its evolution over time. Following the analysis and development of standards and international trends, this research proposes social complexity as a dimension of complex project management and opens a new framework for discussion of standards of competence for such purposes.
