摘要：

A Tc-99m HMDP bone scan obtained before operation in a 44-year-old woman with right renal cell carcinoma showed increased uptake in the L4 vertebra. Plain radiographs of the lumbar vertebrae showed no abnormality. Magnetic resonance imaging findings were compatible with hemangioma of the L4 vertebra, but the possibility of malignancy was great. Tc-99m DTPA-human serum albumin (HSA) SPECT showed highly increased uptake, as much as the great vessels, in the L4 vertebra, and the lesion was diagnosed as a hemangioma.
