In this paper, we improve and extend a new Ostrowski-Griiss type integral inequality obtained recently by Feng and Meng (2012) [26]. To be precise, we show that a condition imposed on the inequality can be removed. Furthermore, we provide a two dimensional generalization of this Ostrowski-Griiss type inequality which is sharp.
