Study on EEG-based BCI Using Difference of Length and Number of Syllable in Inner Speech

摘要
Authors have been studying BCIs using EEG, focusing on the evoked potential caused by inner speech. In previous studies, the authors clarified that the use of different word lengths increases discrimination accuracy. This paper examines whether discrimination accuracy is simply related to the lengths of words or the syllable structure. The experimental results indicate that increasing the number of syllables is also effective in increasing the discrimination accuracy. However, the combination of different lengths of word and different numbers of syllables did not improve the accuracy.
