摘要
As an available precision attack approach, semi active laser (SAL) guided munitions have ability to damage pinpoint targets accurately in coordination with laser-target designator (LTD). However, the obvious disadvantages include operator's security threats and the limited multi-target handling capability. Unattended LTD is a novel design based on magnetic, seismic, acoustic and imaging sensors. To catch the accurate positioning of moving tank, image-based tracking technology was integrated with the acoustic sensors array. The target's classification, velocity and position can be determined by sensors, then coded laser beam will be emitted intelligently to mark the excellent position at an excellent time. This device can avoid loss of life, be deployed massively, and accomplish battle damage assessment (BDA), also it is fit for information based warfare. The key techniques and trends should be intelligentization, microminiaturization, networking and multifunction.
