摘要
Anew hydrostatic journal bearing having an elliptical bush is theoretically studied. The Reynolds equation and flow continuity equation are solved with finite difference method. The effects of radial clearance and ovality on dynamic performance of that new elliptical hydrostatic bearing are researched. The numerical simulation results indicate that radial clearance and ovality have obvious influence on bearing dynamic performance. And from the perspective of stability, bearing with small radial clearance has the best performance.
