摘要
Software design patterns define the repeatable solution to common design problems. They don't provide a solution that can be directly used in code but rather expresses an approach to follow while designing a system. Knowledge of these patterns helps a developer to create more flexible and scalable system that not only fulfills today's requirement but can cater to the future goals as well. This paper lists over 23 GoF software design patterns. The type of problem these patterns address is the guiding principle for this catalogue.
