摘要
Through analyzing the continuous commutation failures at Fengjing converter station caused by the magnetizing inrush current during charging the UHV transformer two times with no load, control strategy is presented to resist HVDC commutation failures in detail. RTDS simulation is used to establish the Lin-Feng HVDC model, and to find out how the inrush current will influence the HVDC system. Firstly, it is completely simulated how continuous commutation failures at the Fengjing inverter side occurs. And then a modified control strategy is given as for the commutation faults. Finally, it is concluded that the new control strategy can effectively prevent successive commutation failures related to the inrush current, through several simulation experiments.
