摘要
We designed a multilayered spherical invisibility cloak with minimum number of isotropic layers by particle swarm optimization technique. The optimization parameters are permittivity and permeability of the layers and their thicknesses. The objective function is the total scattering cross section. For the cloak with 13 layers, we achieved 99.9% reduction of total scattering cross section of the perfectly conducting sphere with radius r = 0.983?. (C) 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
