Synthesis of Sr2CeO4 Nano-Phosphors by Microwave-Assisted Sol-Gel Method

摘要
Sr2CeO4 phosphors were synthesized by a micraowave-assisted sol-gel method. The samples were characterized by TG-DSC, XRD, SEM, TEM and photoluminescence spectroscopy to study the synthesis process, phase constitutution, particle morphology and the photoluminescence property of the phosphors. The results showe that by the micraowave-assisted sol-gel method, nano-sized Sr2CeO4 phosphors can be synthsized at lower calcined temperature in relatively shorter time compared with the traditional citrate sol-gel method. At the same calcined temperature, the Sr2CeO4 phosphors prepared by the micraowave-assisted method have higher photoluminescence intensity, and the distribution in particle shape and size is more homogenous.
