摘要
Interoperability is an important goal of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS1). The architectures of distributed interactive simulation-DIS*, ALSP and HLA, respectively offer interoperability to some extent, but not enough. In this paper, a variety of interoperability definitions are summarized and the relationships between them are proposed. It is presented that interoperability is the inherent request of DIS. A method is given to classify interoperability in distributed simulation, approaches of achieving interoperability are analyzed, and the models of measuring interoperability are discussed. Finally, the recommendation on the future direction is put forward.
