摘要：

This paper deals with the analysis of international trade with furniture in the European region. Particularly, the major EU producers, exporters and importers are defined and quantified. In addition, furniture trade in the countries of central and east Europe is analysed. Production, investment and market conditions of the transition countries are presented in details as well as the possible future prospects are outlined.
