Life and scientific activity of K.K. Platonov - the noted Russian psychologist, factors of his scientific outlook formation along with milestones of his creative biography and psychological views are considered in the article. Life and scientific work are traced in the context of domestic psychological science of the Y-X century social history, witness and direct participant of which he was.
