摘要
Transformers are important power system components whose healthy condition needs to be ensured for safe and reliable operation of any power system network. The overall idea of our paper is to present a solution that can help in identifying the internal faults of a transformer using techniques of Internet of Things(IoT). Sensors are used to sense the abnormalities of the transformer, which in turn transmits a particular frequency of signal to inform the abnormalities, occurred. The aim of building "Automated and Safe Electric PowerStation's" in the smart cities of India with low cost and high efficiency is also an objective of the paper.
