In this paper, some sufficient conditions are established for the oscillation of second-order neutral functional differential equation [r(t)[x(t)+p(t)x(tau(t))]']' + q(t)f(x(sigma(t))) = 0, t >= t(0), where integral(infinity)(t0) dt/r(t) = infinity, or integral(infinity)(t0)dt/r(t) < infinity, 0 <= p(t) <= p(0) < infinity. The results obtained here complement and improve some known results in the literature.
