摘要
Group B streptococcal disease in neonates has declined by more than 65% in the last decade, but it remains an important cause of morbidity and mortality. Two screening methods are used to select mothers for prophylaxis: a screening-based approach and a risk-based approach. Empiric guidelines also exist for prophylaxis in neonates; these must be tailored to the individual infant.
