摘要
Sustainable development implies focusing on the 17 goals included in the 2030 Agenda adopted by the UN General Assembly. Building on the environment's valences, tourism generates economic prosperity, equity and social cohesion, knowledge and understanding. At the same time, it induces pollution, degradation, and consumerism. Sustainable tourism development requires the achievement of goals, but also its global involvement, relying on its capacity to penetrate widely, educate and influence the adoption of new patterns of consumption and production. This paper, based on a systemic analysis, presents the impact and role of tourism in achieving the 17 goals included in the 2030 Agenda and the benefits of their feedback in a circular approach, taking into account both types of induced influences and conditionalities involved.
