摘要：

In the light of the call by Johnstone [14] to pursue research in dimension theory of frames, we introduce into the the setting of frames the fundamental dimension functions hitherto known for topological spaces. These dimension functions for the frames considered are also related to the dimension functions of their respective Stone-Cech Compactifications. Various sum theorems for the dimension theory of frames are also derived.
