摘要
Effect of retained austenite on the corrosion performance of modified 13% Cr martensitic stainless steel (0.025%C-13%Cr-[4% to 6%]Ni-[1% to 2%]Mo) seamless pipe is investigated, Retained austenite in the modified 13% Cr steel pipe was formed in the tempering period and its volume was affected by tempering temperature. Me rest potential and pitting potential for modified 13% Cr steel pipe were independent of the retained austenite content. No harmful influence of retained austenite was observed on corrosion resistance and pitting reststance for modified 13% Cr steel pipe. The sulfide stress cracking (SSC) reststance for steel with a higher retained austenite content was higher than that for the steel with a lower retained austenite content. The precipitated Cr and Mo decreased with the increase in austenite content. Higher content of retained austenite reduced the H content in steel and SSC susceptibility of modified 13% Cr steel pipe.
