Spillover Effect of FDI in Services in China: An Empirical Analysis Based on Panel Data of Nine Industries

摘要：

Using panel data in the period of 1997-2002 in China,this paper analyzes spillover effect of FDI in services in China by the method of fixed effects model. On the whole, the spillover effect is significant and negative during 1997-2002. However if the period is devided into two parts, the result is different. During 1997-2000 the spillover effect is negative but not significant. During 2001-2002 the spillover effect is positive and significant. Lastly this paper puts forward some suggestions.
