摘要：

Via hydrothermal synthesis, a novel pyridyl-formamide metal-organic compound, namely Zn(L)(bdc)center dot(H2O)(0.5) (1), was obtained. The outstanding structural feature of it is the coexistence of polyrotaxane and polycatenane motifs observed in a 2DA3D interlocking array in a vertical mode. 2D -> 3D interlocking array in a vertical mode.
