摘要
This paper presents a parameterized library generation process for inductors and capacitors embedded in low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrates. The libraries are based on a mapping of physical design variables to electrical performance, and involves three steps: (i) determination of the physical design variables and their ranges that span the design space of the application; (ii) RF network analysis, followed by equivalent circuit model component extraction for all devices considered, and (iii) parameterization of all the equivalent circuit components in terms of the physical design variables. The library offers a fast and accurate characterization of embedded components, which substantially reduces design cycle time.
