摘要
In the current era of globalization, new methods of supply chain management are being studied intensively. Supply chain management is an important competitive business strategy. Combining six-sigma, a total quality management philosophy, with statistical quality control methods can achieve failure rates lower than 3.4ppm. Restated, the goal of "zero defects" manufacturing has been realized. This study proposes DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control), a quality improvement program and a key performance index, The VBA language is used to develop a Poisson generally weighted moving average control chart for application in supply chain management. A demonstration of the system confirms that the Poisson generally weighted moving average control chart outperforms traditional charts in detecting small shifts in the process mean.
