摘要
Homogenization techniques are usually used to represent the effective electric properties and help estimate the shielding effectiveness of composite materials. In this paper, a new empirical model, based on homogenization methods, is developed for fiber reinforced composites with the microstructure in the case of a rectangle array of circular conductive fibers embedded in a dielectric matrix. The presented model is obtained by employing least squares approximations and considers the effects of different aligned style of fibers in the matrix. Several examples are analyzed for validation. With the help of a few simple numerical simulations, the proposed model can be introduced in an analytical formula to efficiently estimate the behavior of shielding effectiveness (SE) of composites in a wide frequency range.
