摘要
Densities of methyl-ethyl-ketone + 2-butanol were measured at temperatures between -10 and 80 degreesC, working with the pure species and nine binary mixtures. At each experimental condition, the data were correlated by means of some empirical equations and according to well-established literature models. The estimated excess molar volumes (and some related quantities) were also evaluated by applying the Redlich-Kister equation. The results related to specific intermolecular interactions have been interpreted in terms of structural and geometrical effects. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
